06.06. and 07.06.2024 Kostanay hosted the Kostanay region Draughts Championship among men and women, boys and girls.
The championship was held on the basis of the Akhmet Baityrsynuly KRU in the chess club. The college "ZEREK" was represented by Kudrina Angelina, Tleulenova Orazgul, Engelhardt Ekaterina, Strazhko Olesya, Ablaikhan Asel, Akantai Sandi.
According to the results of the tournament, Engelhardt Ekaterina took 2nd place, Strazhko Olesya took 3rd place. Ekaterina took 3rd place in the Rapid Engelhardt draughts tournament.
Each of the athletes played 11 games of white and black without a break. The tournament was attended by famous athletes of the region and Kazakhstan.
For our girls, this tournament has become a good school of play and sports skills.
