On May 1, Kazakhstan celebrates one of the kindest and brightest holidays – the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Kazakhstan.
This is a celebration of friendship, understanding and harmony, which are so necessary for peaceful life in a country where more than 150 nations and nationalities live. The big family of Kazakhstan includes Kazakhs, Uzbeks, Russians, Ukrainians, Germans, Koreans, Uighurs, Kyrgyz, Chinese, Jews, Armenians, Georgians and many, many other nationalities. Each of these peoples is unique in its own way, but together on the territory of our Republic they are one friendly people. And this is the meaning of the May Day holiday.
Students and teachers of the college held a festive event as part of the implementation of the Rukhani Zhangyru program. The students presented colorful information about the traditions, culture and way of life of the peoples of the republic.
The event ended with a display of national costumes, dances and traditions.
