On October 17, an Evening was held at the college-a portrait of "His name to live in our hearts", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Kazakh poet, folk writer Syrbai Maulenov.
The students learned a lot of new and interesting things about the life and work of S. Maulenov. For example, the fact that the poet is a participant in the Great Patriotic War, that a song was written on the words of the poem "Sogistan Kaitkan Soldattar", which sounds on the May victory days, that more than 50 collections were published, that he translated the works of A. Pushkin, M. Lermontov, V. Mayakovsky into Kazakh.
During the event, poems about the war, about the motherland, about nature were performed.
The works of the author were presented at the exhibition prepared for readers.
