As part of the training of future teachers, ZEREK College passed an interim control in the WorldSkills format.

This unique event allowed students not only to demonstrate their professional skills, but also to immerse themselves in the real working conditions of a primary school teacher.

The participants were divided into two groups:

4 students acted as teachers who were supposed to conduct a lesson fragment for the "students".

The rest of the students became volunteers, playing the roles of primary school students, taking into account their age characteristics.

Each "teacher" developed a detailed lesson summary, taking into account the age characteristics of younger students, the goals and objectives of the lesson, as well as methods and techniques of work, conducted lesson fragments, demonstrating the ability to hold the attention of "students", use visual materials and interactive teaching methods.

The volunteers, playing the roles of students, tried to convey the behavior and reactions of primary school children as accurately as possible. This helped the "teachers" to adapt to the real working conditions.

After the lessons, the participants analyzed the lesson fragments, paying attention to the strengths and weaknesses, as well as the correspondence of the summary to the actual course of the lesson.
