On October 26, 2022, a meeting of first-year students of the specialty "Teacher of a foreign language of primary education" with a volunteer from the USA Anezhka Boyle was organized at the college.
Anezhka came to the Republic of Kazakhstan from Los Angeles, California, as part of the Fulbright English Teacher Assistant educational grant program and has been teaching students in our city for the second year.
The meeting with the volunteer was held in a warm home environment in the question-answer mode, this was a great opportunity for students of the specialty to immerse themselves in the environment of a native speaker for a short time and test their skills. Anyezhka was pleasantly surprised by the level of language proficiency of our students, she communicated with the group for more than an hour. The most active students were encouraged with pleasant gifts.
Both the volunteer and the students were satisfied with this meeting. We express our great gratitude for the organization of the meeting to the coordinator of the American Corner at the L.N.Tolstoy Kostanay UNB Bermagambetova Kamazhay. And we hope that our cooperation will continue in the future.
