In the age of information technology, many people often turn to the Internet to search for the necessary information, forgetting about the existence of such sources as periodicals.
Students of the 2nd year of the specialty "Preschool education and training" were invited to review the periodicals available in the library.
The purpose of the review was to generate interest in reading newspapers and magazines.
We discussed with the students what publications are printed in our country, the names of newspapers and magazines. The librarian spoke about the variety, periodicity, and subject matter of periodicals. She gave a brief description of individual periodicals, such as the magazines "Mektepke deyingi tarbieh men okytu-Preschool education and training". "Preschool education and upbringing", "Bilim", newspapers "Uchitelskaya plus", "Bilimdi el-An educated country". Students learned about the interesting headings that are in these magazines.
During the event, students received information about the features of such a publication as a newspaper. These are relevance; periodicity; universality — a wide range of topics, everything that could interest readers and that newspapers have a reputation as a reliable source of information. Both republican newspapers and local publications were presented to the attention of those present. "Kazakhstanskaya Pravda", "Bilimdi el is an educated country", "Uchitelskaya plus", "Kostanay news", "Kostanay tany".
