On March 29, 2022, on the basis of the Kostanay Higher College of Kazpotrebsoyuz, a student hackathon of business projects "StartUp"-2022" was held among students of technical and vocational education organizations of the Kostanay region.
This competition is aimed at involving students of various colleges in project activities and the formation of economic thinking and entrepreneurial initiative among young people. 10 participants from 5 colleges of Kostanay region took part in the competition: KGKP "Kostanay Pedagogical College", the institution "Kostanay socio-technical College", Chu "College of Entrepreneurship KInEU", Chu "college ZEREK", the institution "Kostanay Higher College of Kazpotrebsoyuz".
-Start-Up projects in the following areas are presented: medical technologies, projects to preserve health, technologies to improve the environment, consumption, services, social projects, etc.
The contestants were evaluated by a competent jury:
- Bikenov Marat Akhmetkalievich -business coach of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kostanay region "Atameken".
- Mnaidarov Damir Dulatovich - Acting Head of the Informatization Department of the NAO "Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynov".
- Bekbayev Nursultan Galymzhanovich- project coordinator of the Club of Young Entrepreneurs of Kostanay region "Zhas Atameken", Chief specialist of the Technology transfer Department of the Smart Center at the A. Baitursynov KRU.
According to the results of the competition, the winners were determined:

- II place -the Fruit chips project - Yulia Makhovskaya, Ekaterina Ogayskaya (head of Kashakova Gulnar Adilovna)
- II place -the Fencing Club project - Yesimseit Alikhan (head of Raven Nadezhda Borisovna)
- III place-the Phytosten project - Kristina Sinegub (head of Alyonova Saule Tasbolatovna)
- III place -the robot-lawyer" - Sapabekov Amirzhan, Moldagaliev Rustam (head Kukenova Bakytkul Kabyldinovna).
